Bremer Orthotics & Prosthetics is pleased to announce that Jose Rodriguez-Torres has joined our team. Originally from Puerto Rico, Jose has been an above-knee amputee for over 10 years and understands the physical and emotional challenges faced by amputees. He is passionate about promoting physical activity among amputees and is committed to advocating for patient care and rights, as well as helping them find education and resources to succeed. He has collaborated with numerous organizations and industry experts to advance the field of amputee care and support.

After completing his rehabilitation at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, Jose had the opportunity to learn about prosthetics and patient care in Long Island, New York. This experience inspired him to make a difference. For years, he has devoted his personal time to helping individuals with limb loss achieve a higher quality of life across North and Latin America. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by amputees, he has worked tirelessly to provide resources, support, and guidance to those in need.

Now calling Jacksonville, Florida his home, Jose will continue to facilitate patient care at Bremer Orthotics & Prosthetics full-time. We are proud to have Jose on our team and look forward to the positive impact he will make in the lives of our patients.
